The american cane corso rescue organizations will make sure all available dogs have proper training before releasing. These two breeds have a few appearance differences such as weight, body structure, and color. Thus, dogs bred in the United States are larger and can weigh 140 pounds and more, whereas Italian dogs should not weigh more than 110 pounds. US dogs are also bred in a greater variety of colors. Unlike its Italian version, the breed does not have such a long history and it is not so well documented. Its origins are traced back to the 1980s, when a Neapolitan Mastiff breeder named Scotile imported a few dogs from Sicily. The american cane corso rescue organizations will make sure all available dogs have proper training before releasing.
