When deciding upon what type of a puppy to buy – pet or show quality, consider whether you are going to show and breed you dog. Pet quality does not mean that there is something wrong with the dog. Such dogs are unlikely to excel in a show ring and should be spayed/neutered, as only the best breeding stock can be used for breeding.
