Though they can adjust to apartment living if receive sufficient exercise, they are best with a medium-sized fenced-in yard with a shelter for the dog. The breed is large and strongly build with a square off head, well-developed muscles, and a short coat that comes in blue, black, fawn, red, and other colors.
