A big bone cane corso is often desired by breeders as well as proper training.
As a rule, the tail is docked at the 4th vertebrae and is carried low, yet when the dog is in action, it carries the tail horizontally or slightly higher than the back. The coat is coarse and has a thick undercoat. It has to be brushed regularly, as the dogs shed heavily.
