Cane Corso Dog
The cane corso dog will often have it's many excellent qualities captured in a picture by it's proud breeder.
The breed has a short coat that sheds twice a year and has to be brushed regularly to remove dead hair. There are few health problems in the breed with hip dysplasia being common like in all large breeds. They can adjust to apartment living if exercised regularly.

This mastiff-type dog has never been used in fighting and will never seek run-ins with other dogs unless provoked. Courageous and devoted, this breed is a good protection dog and companion. It likes being involved in human activities and tends to be destructive when left alone for a long time.
